Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation

Michelle is trained in the Mei Zen acupuncture facial rejuvenation system, a comprehensive system that addresses facial wrinkles, sagging, discoloration, and other skin conditions. This technique uses small, dermal needles that are very fine and delicate to boost collagen production, lift the skin, tone muscles, and brighten the complexion.

A typical series is 10 treatments, and this can vary somewhat – shorter or longer in duration depending upon the level of aging of the skin as well as the status of overall health.  Each treatment is individually  tailored and includes:

  • Dermal needling of the neck and/or face
  • Massage on hands, feet, or neck
  • Masking with Chinese herbals
  • Facial gua sha
  • Body needling to reinforce treatment results

Avoid Botox, fillers, and other procedures that can mask expression. These cosmetic procedures can be detrimental to the basal layer of the skin, causing permanent damage and distortion to the facial muscles. Acupuncture can yield long-term benefits to the skin by engendering a more youthful and bright expression to your skin, while also bolstering immune health.
